Welcome to our R&D center LOTTMANN
We have built a modern equipped workplace for research, development, consulting and education in the areas of wet and powder coating.
Here we expand our research activities for the optimization and improvement of current technologies and application processes.
We do test and evaluate technologies from the world’s leading manufacturers to deliver the best possible solutions.
We can design, project, test and implement application technology concepts for you, including SW control, trajectory programming and optimize the fitting method for various conveyor systems.
The aim of our research activities is to satisfy the specific needs of the customer for the optimization of his production. We focus on increasing productivity, efficiency, achieving savings in production and reducing negative effects on the environment.
R&D LOTTMANN equipment:
- booth for wet painting

- accurate dosing with gear pumps and automatic control of flow measurement
- automatic application technology /aerobell, electrostatics, contouring, low-pressure and high-pressure guns, regulators, special applications – adhesives, waxes, Teflon…
- manual application technology /high and low pressure, gravity gun, with bottom feed..
- precise programmable laboratory oven with air exchange from 30° to 300°C with a volume of 743l
- laboratory equipment / DFT gauges, thermometers, hygrometer, surface cleanliness, grid test, digital microscope, colored discharge cups
- LOTTMANN control and visualization systems created according to the specific application requirements for Industry 4.0 on the Siemens platform
- 3D printing for prototypes
Color management:
- low-pressure modules up to 24 bar /diaphragm, piston pumps, electric, gear pumps, pressure reservoirs/
- high-pressure modules up to 490 bar /airless, airmix/
- different types of fluid level measurement
- various modular solutions / lifting devices piston, linear, rail/, with container lifting or with movable lid
- 2K, 3K dosing and mixing equipment
- pigging system for quick color return
- mixing station with electric mixer, pneumatic with gearbox, high-speed, various types of mixing elements
